Part of our Spine-chilling cinema season, throughout October enjoy classic horror films at our Chamber Cinema in the lead up to Halloween. 

Birds inexplicably turn against woman in Alfred Hitchcock’s (Vertigo, Rear Window, Psycho) audacious suspense classic. 

Tippi Hedren is Melanie, a San Francisco socialite who follows a potential boyfriend (Rod Taylor) to the sleepy Californian town of Bodega Bay. Once she arrives, birds of all kinds suddenly begin a deadly and sustained attack on the community. From this unlikely premise, loosely based on a story by Daphne du Maurier, Hitchcock crafts a deft and masterful thriller with special effects that remain disturbingly convincing today.
