About Underground Festival

Filled with the hottest new bands and artists, this year Undergound Festival will feature sets from Unpeople, Snayx, Spunge, Jools, Devon, Boss Cass and many more!

Underground Festival takes place on stages across 4 city centre venues - Gloucester Guildhall, The Thirsty Pine, Gloucester Blackfriars and Café Rene.

Having previously hosted the likes of Bastille, Lower Than Atlantis, Peace and George Ezra, the festival has a history of spotlighting the best of the underground music scene. The 2026 line up boasts the best from indie, rock, pop-punk and folk.

The festival aims to showcase the UK’s biggest and best in new music, and the finest local talent.

The main stage will be held at Gloucester Guildhall with the best Alt Rock, The Thirsty Pine with the best new punk / ska / rock line up. The 13th Century priory Gloucester Blackfriars will host the best of UK’s indie scene, and Café Rene hosted by county promoters Audio Junk Food will host a mix of special stripped back sets from local pop-punk and rock music throughout the day.

Wristband collection

Collect your festival wristband from Gloucester Guildhall Box Office to ensure entry to our 4 venues. 

Guildhall Box Office will be open from 10am on Saturday 28 March to collect your wristband.   

Venue Entry

Access to venues is on a first come first served basis. When capacity is reached the venue will operate as 1 in 1 out. We highly recommend arriving early to the venue to catch your favourite artists!

Please note due to the nature of being a basement venue Café Rene is unsuitable for those with accessibility needs. All other venues are accessible.
