One Battle After Another (15)

Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant) and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson (Phantom Thread, The Master) join forces in One Battle After Another, already tipped for awards glory after early rave reviews. 

Part political satire, part black comedy, part action thriller, it sees a group of ex-revolutionaries reunite to rescue one of their own after a longtime enemy resurfaces. Loosely adapted from Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland (marking Anderson’s return to Pynchon after Inherent Vice), Anderson’s latest stars Oscar and BAFTA winners Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn alongside Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor and DiCaprio.
