About Nuremburg (12A)

Please note: the screening on Thursday 11th December at 11am will include descriptive subtitles.

Russell Crowe and Rami Malek lead a stellar ensemble cast in Zodiac screenwriter James Vanderbilt’s feature debut Nuremberg, bringing to life the extraordinary trials of high-ranking Nazis following World War II.

Inspired by Jack El-Hai’s book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, it sees American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Malek) tasked with assessing the mental fitness of several Nazi prisoners. His most challenging subject is the brutish Hermann Göring (Crowe), Hitler’s closest confidant, leading to a tense psychological battle. A gripping cat-and-mouse drama, set in the grim shadow of the horrors of the Holocaust, Nuremberg explores the human mind at its most chilling and complex, with Crowe’s commanding turn as Göring ably supported by Michael Shannon, Richard E. Grant, John Slatery and Leo Woodall.
