Classic Musical Cine Club My Fair Lady (U)

Audrey Hepburn gives a spirited performance in George Cukor’s enchanting musical, adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion. 

Pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison) is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to induct a Cockney working-class girl into high society. His subject is the lovely Eliza Doolittle (Hepburn), who agrees to elocution lessons to improve her job prospects. Higgins and Eliza clash, then form an unlikely bond – one that is threatened by the arrival of an aristocratic suitor (Jeremy Brett).
