Spine-chilling Cinema season Beetlejuice (12)

Part of our Spine-chilling cinema season, throughout October enjoy classic horror films at our Chamber Cinema in the lead up to Halloween.

Tim Burton’s (Edward Scissorhands, ) off-the-wall gothic horror comedy remains an anarchic, spooky delight.

What's a Yuppie ghost couple to do when their quaint New England home is overrun by trendy New Yorkers? Hire a freelance "bio-exorcist" to spook the intruders, of course.

After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they get stuck haunting their country residence. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and their teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy it and move in, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success… and their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose “help” quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and Lydia alike.
