500 Miles (12A)

BAFTA winner Bill Nighy (Living, Love Actually) stars in a poetic, life-affirming road movie adapted from Mark Lowery’s acclaimed novel Charlie and Me: 421 Miles From Home.

Finn (Roman Griffin Davis) and his live-wire younger brother Charlie (Dexter Sol Ansell) run away to avoid being split up by their separating parents (Clare Dunne, Michael Socha). They're trying to reach the Dingle on the wild west coast of Ireland, and their beloved, eccentric grandad (Nighy) – who they haven't seen since all their troubles began. 

On an epic 500-mile journey across land and sea, they survive on their smarts, charm and the kindness of strangers – especially free-spirited busker Cait (Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams), who’s fleeing troubles of her own.
