This policy outlines the terms and conditions of using the cloakroom facilities at Gloucester Guildhall. 

  1. Operating hours 

    a. The cloakroom is only open during our box office business hours to deposit items. 
    b. Items can be collected in box office business hours and up until closing on an event night. 
     

  2. Accepted items 

    a. Coats, jackets, bags, and umbrellas. 
    b. The cloakroom service is chargeable with a fee of £1 per item. 
    c. We do not accept items of high value, fragile items, or large luggage. 
     
  3. Prohibited items 

    a. Items that are illegal, dangerous, or hazardous are not permitted to be stored or left within items deposited at the cloakroom. 
    b. If such items are found, they will be reported to the appropriate authorities. 
     
  4. Ticket system 

    a. Upon depositing an item, you will receive a numbered ticket which corresponds with your item. 
    b. Please retain this ticket as it is required to reclaim your item. 
    If you lose your ticket, proof of ownership must be provided, and a delay in retrieving your item may occur. 
     
  5. Liability 

    a. While we take utmost care of your belongings, Gloucester Guildhall is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to items stored in the cloakroom. 
    b. We recommend not leaving valuable items in the cloakroom. 
    c. Customers are responsible for checking their items for any pre-existing damage before depositing them. 
     
  6. Unclaimed items 

    a. Items not collected by the end of the business day will be stored securely. 
    b. Unclaimed items will be held for a maximum of 30 days. 
    c. After 30 days, unclaimed items may be donated to charity or disposed of. 
     
  7. Changes to the policy 

    a. Gloucester Guildhall reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated via notices in the cloakroom area and on our website.
