Dir: Danny Boyle | UK | 2025 | 115 mins
Cast | Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell
Danny Boyle and Alex Garland reunite for 28 Years Later, a terrifying new story set in the world first envisioned in their seminal collaboration 28 Days Later and starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes.
28 Years Later sets its scene nearly three decades after the rage virus fatefully escaped a biological weapons laboratory. A group of survivors lives in ruthlessly enforced quarantine on Lindisfarne, connected to the rest of the UK by just one heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission, he discovers the secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected, but other survivors as well.
