The story of a family, and a family business.
Arch cinema stylist Wes Anderson (Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Asteroid City) returns with The Phoenician Scheme, starring Benicio del Toro and Mia Threapleton as an unlikely father-daughter duo in a dark but richly comedic tale of mid-century espionage.
Del Toro is Zsa-zsa Korda, one of the wealthiest men in Europe; Threapleton his daughter Liesl, an unimpressed nun; Michael Cera their hapless tutor Bjorn, alongside a gloriously star-studded wider ensemble that includes Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend and Hope Davis.
Please note: the screening on Thursday at 11am will include descriptive subtitles.
