Apollo 11 (U)

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mankinds first steps on the moon on 20th July 1969 comes a cinematic event fifty years in the making. Crafted from a newly discovered trove of 70mm footage, and more than 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings, Apollo 11 takes us straight to the heart of NASA’s most celebrated mission—the one that first put men on the moon.

"A stunning, gorgeously cinematic journey firing on all cylinders"

In partnership with the Museum of Gloucester’s Moon exhibition, we have included Apollo 11  in a short season of ‘Moon and space themed’ movies over the summer. For details of the exhibition, pop head over to the Museum of Gloucester and take a look! The exhibition runs from 29th June to 21st September 2019.
