The complex lives of young deaf people are explored in all their intricacies in this searching, beautifully performed drama set in contemporary Hong Kong. Based on long-term research and utilising a collaborative approach, Adam Wong Sau-Ping’s (The Way We Dance) sixth feature is a moving portrait of friendship and belonging.

Wolf, Alan and Sophie all have different levels of deafness. When Sophie graduates from the university and starts a new job, she realises she has been struggling to be seen as normal. Tensions grow between the three friends as they find themselves conflicted over how best to communicate with the world while remaining true to themselves
